BHP Billiton


BHP Billiton is the world's largest mining company. It is also the largest company in Australia by Market capitalisation. It was created in 2001 by the merger of Australia's Broken Hill Proprietary Company (BHP) and the UK's Billiton, which had a Dutch and South African background. The result is a dual-listed company with head offices in Melbourne and London. BHP Billiton Limited, which is the majority partner in the dual-listed structure, is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. BHP Billiton Plc is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index.

Field Operation Supervisor Site Based
This is Staff position reporting to Field Operation Superintendent. Responsible in daily coordination and supervision of field activities conducted in Indonesia Coal Project (ICP) to comply with the HSEC and Security aspect of the operation in cost effective and timely manner. Explorationfield operation will include mapping, site preparation, drilling and sampling, fly camp operation, land/river transport and helicopter operation. Responsibilities also include close supervision of the contractors performance to achieve Zero Harm and project goals.

This position require minimum of 7 years supervisory roles and broad experiences in exploration activities. Good leadership, planning and organising, problem solving, high HSEC awareness and integrity are all competencies that are desirable as well as good communication skills in English. Applicant with Pengawas Operasional Pertama (POP) certificate is preferred.

Field Logistics Supervisor Site Based
This is Staff position reporting to Field Operation Superintendent Responsible in daily coordination and supervision of logistics support to the field operation in Indonesia Coal Project (ICP) in compliance with the HSEC and Security aspect of the logistics chain in cost effective and timely manner. Responsibilities also include close supervision of the contractors performance to achieve Zero Harm and project goals.

This position require minimum of 7 years supervisory roles and broad experiences in a complex logistics chain operations. Good leadership, planning and organising, problem solving, high HSEC awareness and Integrity are all competencies that are desirable as well as good communication skills in English. Applicant with Pengawas Operasional Pertama (POP) certificate is preferred.
