PT Agincourt Resources
PT Agincourt Resources is a subsidiary of G-Resources. G-Resources is a Hong Kong listed gold mines and explorer. It has acquired the world-class Martabe gold-silver project in northern Sumatra, Indonesia. Already in development, Martabe is expected to commerce commissioning at the end of 2010 with first gold poured in early 2011. The plant is capable of producing at rate of 250,000 oz gold and 3M oz silver per annum.
Martabe with a resources base of 6.5M oz gold and 3M oz silver per annum. Martabe with a resources base of 6.5M oz gold and 66M oz silver will form the core starter asset around which a globally competitive, Asian-Pacific focused gold company will be built. G-Resources seeks to rapidly grow production to more than one million ounces of gold annually through exploration of the large and highly prospective Martabe property and through acquisition of other quality gold assets.
PT Agincourt Resources is now pleased to invite applications for the following role:
MINE OPERATION SUPERINTENDENT (MD6039)
Reports to the Mine Manager. This position is accountable to manage all aspects of mine site operation, budgeting, planning, production and control.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experiences:
* Formal qualifications in mining or civil engineering.
* Minimum 8 years experience in open pit mines including management, planning and mine operations.
* Minimum POM certificate.
* Experience in the construction of new mining operations will also be highly valued.
* Having a good understanding of wide range mining equipment application
* Excellent communication skills, including competence in speaking, reading and writing English.
2. MINE PLANNING SUPERINTENDENT (MD0640)
Reports directly to the Mine Manager. This position is accountable to:
* Ensure that Mine & Production Plans and scheduling reflect production requirements and logical progression.
* Lead and monitor mining operations staff in their day to day mining operations, monitor and control mining equipment usage to ensure the safest and efficient mining operations in order to achieve production targets and schedules in line with the mine plan.
* Provide effective leadership to the Mine Planning Team through setting clear expectation and providing, coaching, feedback and opportunities for development.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experiences:
* Formal qualifications in mining/Geodetic/Geology Engineering.
* Minimum 8 years experience in the same role in mining industries.
* Mastering Ms. Office and Mining Software (Surpac, Minescape, AutoCAD, Map info, etc.)
* Excellent communication skills, including competence in speaking, reading and writing English.
3. GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER (MD0613)
Reports directly to the Mine Planning Superintendent. This position is accountable to provide the effective long term stabilization of the pit walls and general site stability issues. The role is including calculate, design, monitor and control the open pit on a daily basis.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
* Formal qualification in civil or geotechnical engineering.
* 5-10 years experience in geotechnical engineering in mining industry.
* Proficient in Geotechnical softwares, i.e. Surpac, Mapinfo Slope/w, stability software, and database management skills.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work within mining team
4. SENIOR MINE PLANNER (MD 0612)
Reports directly to the Mine Manager. The role of this senior position involves in the setup, development and management of the mine planning department.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
* Formal qualification in mining/civil engineering discipline with an emphasis on computer planning skills.
* Minimum of 10 years working experience within substantial open cut, D&B, open cut mine.
* Minimum of 2 years experience in a metalliferous mining operation, a gold operation would be desirable.
* High level computer skills in Microsoft, Surpac, Minesched, Mapinfo or Micromine.
5. MINE GEOLOGY SUPERINTENDENT (GEO0641).
Reports directly to the Mine Geology Manager. This position is accountable to:
* Ensure that Company’s mine geology programs are developed and implemented with a high level of quality technical input, in practical and cost effective manner within the guidelines of industry best practice for Health, Safety, Environment and Community Relations.
* Coordinate, control and schedule field geology activities to achieve set objectives, contribute to the Division s success and provide professional specialized services.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
* Formal qualifications in Geology.
* More than 8 years mine geology experience.
* Strong Technical skills in mine geology.
* Familiarity with JORC code and resources/reserve modeling and estimation procedures.
* Excellent leadership skill, well developed analytical and communication skills.
All positions above will be based in Martabe site with FIFO schedule 4/2 weeks.
