BRITMINDO is an established professional Mining company providing services that include Mine Development, Mine Management, Operational Improvements, Technical Studies and Consultancy to the leading Indonesian mining companies.

Due to our continued growth and the demand for our services we require the following personnel:

1. Engineering Manager
Reporting to the Principals with general duties are:
  • Proven management of a small specialist team of geologists and mining engineers,
  • Able to organize geological exploration teams,
  • Capable of holding meetings and presentations in English,
  • Able to prepare technical reports in English,
  • Able to liaise with a client base of significant international companies,
  • Assisting Client in dealing with "soft issues" relating to Engineering work,
  • Maintaining time line and program for development period.
Qualifications:
  • Holds a geology degree from a recognized Indonesian University,
  • Minimum 10 years coal experience in exploration, modeling, mine planning and mine operations,
  • Strong working knowledge of Mincom Minescape Mine Planning Software,
  • Experienced with alternative mining Software,
  • Reasonably fluent in English language,
  • Proven management experience and ability to work unsupervised,
  • Possesses the experience and skill to quality as a competent person for coal resources and reserves evaluations to JORC standards.
The position will be based in Jakarta but occasional travel to sites will be required. This is a permanent position and Competitive salary and benefits will be offered to the right candidate.

2. HR Supervisor
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Human Resource Manager to manage HRD function at Britmindo,
  • Lead, organize and provide direction for employees to ensure outstanding performance is achieved in people performance, HSE&Q outcomes and the business results,
  • Actively contribute to a positive teamwork environment at all times,
  • Communicate openly and honestly at all times,
  • Implement corporate human resources policies and procedures from corporate HR Department,
  • Review and develop specific human resources policies and procedures for site,
  • Providing corporate HR Department with appropriate human resources report,
  • Assisting Human resource Manager in recruiting and maintaining high qualified people.
Requirements:
  • S1 law or social science,
  • Tertiary qualification in appropriate field,
  • Previous experience in a similar role minimum 5 years in mining HR,
  • Preferred experience in Mining recruitment,
  • Good knowledge of Indonesian HR laws,
  • Open and honest communication,
  • Good communication, written-verbal, both in English and Bahasa.
The positions above (1, 2) will be based in Jakarta but occasional travel to sites will be required. This is a permanent position and Competitive salary and benefits will be offered to the right candidate.

3. Mine Planner
Responsibilities:
  • Understand mine operation (short or long term planning),
  • Prepare short and long term mine planning (production and project),
  • Prepare reporting production reconciliation (monthly, quarterly, yearly),
  • Active contribute to a positive teamwork engineering and environment at all times,
  • Communicate openly and honestly at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Graduated Mining Engineer,
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Mine Plan,
  • Capability to operating Mines cape or Surpac software,
  • Previous management and supervisory experience,
  • Ready worked in remote area,
  • Preferred Hold a “POP” Mining Indonesia competency certificate,
  • Strong commitment to safety.
4. Maintenance Planner
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with site staff to ensure plant on is maintained accordance with procedures and manufacture s recommendations and to advise optimum levels of utilization, availability and cost effectiveness,
  • Ensure employees within the workshop work in a safe, timely, efficient, environmentally aware and cost conscious manner,
  • Develop and implement preventive Maintenance schedules,
  • Liaise with OEM dealers to achieve optimum performance and related costs,
  • Ensure there is effective utilization of plant personnel and resources to achieve optimum performance in all facets,
  • Establish priorities for the repair of equipment in order to optimize maximum utilization of plant fleet to achieve production targets,
  • Liaise with operations with recommendations of equipments failure and damage causes,
  • Review mechanical repairs and services to ensure compliance with the recording requirements of plant system and procedures manual,
  • Review plant costs to maintain/reduce budget on all plant items as determined by the plant rates,
  • Provide Plant Department employees with the opportunity to increase knowledge and skills by recognizing and recommending training in order to achieve workplace competencies.
Qualifications:
  • Recognized Trade and/mechanical engineering qualifications,
  • Minimum 3 years industrial experience in a combination of mining and construction industries in the similar role,
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa and English,
  • Computer literate,
  • Ready worked in remote area,
  • Be an efficient, honest, team player, with analytical skills, attention to detail and quality, be persistent and system oriented.
5. Graduate Engineer
Responsibilities:
  • To provide mine engineering, drill and last, and coal quality support to the Engineering Department,
  • Assist in increasing the profitability of the mining operation. Gain sufficient skills for a career in Mine Engineering.
Requirements:
  • Qualification in bachelor degree of mining Engineering,
  • Have experience in Mine design and scheduling concept & operations. Concept and operations in Coal handling and processing,
  • Have knowledge in Mining principles, Coal processing and blending concept and operations: an awareness of mine regulatory requirement: Industry best practice & standards OHS&E regulations and rules,
  • Ready worked in remote area,
  • Good communication skill: written & Verbal in English and Indonesian,
  • General computer literacy: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Access.
The positions above (3, 4, 5) will be based in Tarakan Project. This is a permanent position and Competitive salary and benefits will be offered to the right candidate.

6. Production Supervisor
Responsibilities:
  • Technical and mine planning support to the operation,
  • Monitor equipment performance,
  • Develop and maintain control cost reporting system,
  • Provide back up to the site based personnel,
  • Review daily production and ensure compliance with mine planning.
Qualifications:
  • Recognized mining engineering qualifications,
  • Minimum 5 years practical operating mining experience in a similar role,
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa and English,
  • Computer literate,
  • Hold a “POP” Mining Indonesia competency certificate,
  • Be an efficient, honest, team player, with analytical skills, attention to detail and quality, be persistent and systems oriented,
  • Knowledge of heavy Equipment is preferable.
7. QC-GEOLOGIST
Responsible to provide the coal quality and processing plan which guides the mining operation in alignment with the client. Paramount in this is the profitability of the mining operation.

Requirement :
  • Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering or geology,
  • Minimum 2-3 year experience in a similar role and coal projects,
  • Appropriate industry experience,
  • Ready worked in remote area,
  • Knowledge and understanding of clients, consultants, suppliers & subcontractors,
  • Good communication skills, written-verbal, both English and Bahasa,
  • Computer literacy.
8. Mining Foreman
Responsibilities:
  • To co-ordinate and supervise the removal of overburden and the mining and transport of coal in a safe, effective on time and within budget,
  • Actively contribute to a positive teamwork environment at all times,
  • Communicate openly and honestly at all times.
Requirements:
  • Senior High school degree,
  • Minimum 2-3 year experience in a similar role,
  • Understanding utilization all equipment and productivity,
  • Ready worked in remote area.
9. Senior Mine Planner
Responsibilities:
  • Understand mine operation (short, middle and long term planning),
  • Supporting Sites with short and long term mine planning/scheduling & design function,
  • Prepare short, middle and long term mine planning (production and project),
  • Prepare reporting production reconciliation (monthly, quarterly, yearly),
  • Active contribute to a positive teamwork engineering and environment at all times,
  • Communicated openly and honestly at all times.
Requirements:
  • Graduated Mining Engineer,
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in coal mine engineering projects in areas such as mine design scheduling and planning as well as operational/fields experience,
  • Capability to operating Mines cape, Surpac, Xpac and Talpac software,
  • Good communication skill: written & Verbal in English and Indonesian,
  • General computer literacy: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Access,
  • Strong leadership, initiative, planning & organizing skills, problem solving, time management interpersonal skills, teamwork, client focus and be result driven,
  • Ready worked in remote area,
  • Preferred Hold a “POP” Mining Indonesia competency certificate,
  • Strong commitment to safety.
10. Surveyor
Responsibilities:
  • Understand to do survey & data process by manual & computerized system,
  • Preparation of mine plans / section as per the mining law of Indonesia and per other needs,
  • Prepare detailed surveys of mine workings,
  • Analyze survey control,
  • Mine planning and maintaining computer models of mine.
Requirements:
  • Male min. 20 years and max 30 years old,
  • Min STM Tambang, D3 Geodetic from reputable University,
  • Having Experience within 1-2 years experience on civil construction & mining,
  • English min. passive,
  • Willing to work at mine site, and remote area,
  • Knowledge of mine planning and survey related software.
The positions above (6, 7, 8, 9, 10) will be based in Our new Project- South Kalimantan. This is a permanent position and Competitive salary and benefits will be offered to the right candidate.
