BHP Biliton


BHP Billiton is the world's largest mining company. It is also the largest company in Australia by Market capitalisation. It was created in 2001 by the merger of Australia's Broken Hill Proprietary Company (BHP) and the UK's Billiton, which had a Dutch and South African background. The result is a dual-listed company with head offices in Melbourne and London. BHP Billiton Limited, which is the majority partner in the dual-listed structure, is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. BHP Billiton Plc is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index.

Senior Contract & Procurement Supervisor Jakarta
Reporting to Finance Controller, this position will be accountable for develop, implement, standardize and improve our end to end contract management & procurement processes and systems.

Responsibilities include providing high quality services as well as technical advice to user departments in developing and negotiating contracts and service arrangements ensuring that annual performance objectives are achieved within approved operating budgets and high compliance with our polices, business code of conduct and any other related regulations.

To be considered for this position, you must have competences which include knowledge of various contracting types and strategies related to project execution; Contract writing skills; Financial evaluation, life cycle costing; Extensive experience in contract negotiation. You should be fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia and have good knowledge of commercial law and insurance. Experience in SAP will be an advantage.
