Sales Support Officer
Responsibilities:
- Update agents with most up-to-date product information and maintain close relationship with agents to build a positive image for Cathay Pacific Airways.
- Provide inputs, comments and suggestions on both sales operation and services to the Sales & Marketing Manager and sales team.
- Coordinate with Hongkong headquarter revenue team in yearly fares, and others matters related with sales and promo fares.
- Handle agents inquiries on group price, booking and procedure of ticket issuance. To report group monthly report to Hongkong headquarter revenue team.
- Provide updates on competitors activities and market price. Provide relevant analysis and inputs for Cathay Pacific’s sales team to develop a strategy to be competitive in the market.
- Co-ordinate general sales filing with the assistance of sales supports.
- Assist sales team for fare requested from agents.
- Service incoming inquiries from travel agents.
- Provide report to Hongkong headquarter revenue team.
- Assist in developing and maintaining database of cxwebsite, as well as promoting it as dedicated distribution channel for travel agents.
- Represent Cathay Pacific at various functions, agents travel fair, product knowledge updates, fare briefing and other occasions deemed necessary.
- Other duties as required by direct or indirect appraiser.
- Bachelor degree from any discipline.
- Fluent in English both oral and written.
- Computer literate, familiarity with the relevant computer programs.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and target oriented.
- Ability to speak mandarin will be an advantage.
- Have 1 year of working experience as sales support will be an advantage.
