Sampoerna Agro


Sampoerna Agro (SA) is an emerging integrated oil palm plantation group in Indonesia with six subsidiaries operating in South Sumatra and Central Kalimantan provinces. Previously known as PT Selapan Jaya, which was established in South Sumatra in late 1980s, SA is engaged in the plantation and cultivation of palm trees and the processing of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) into crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel.

SA manages more than 73,000 ha of planted oil palm plantation (nucleus, plasma, and partnership scheme) and operates five CPO mills with total processing capacity of 350 tonnes FFB per hour. In 2006, SA produced more than 1.1 million tonnes of FFB and 240,000 tonnes of CPO.

Internal Auditor (IAS - 27)

Responsibility:
Plans and performs audit for management to determine effectiveness of controls and accuracy of financial records and efficiency of operations.

Requirements:
  • S1 degree in accounting with min 3.0 GPA from reputable university,
  • 3-5 years experience minimum as Internal Audit in Public Accountant Office,
  • 35 years old maximum
  • Fluent in English both oral and written,
  • Having good knowledge of capital market statutes and regulations, and taxation regulations,
  • Having ability to work in a team, and is independent, honest, and objective in performing its duties,
  • Willing to travel to the plantation areas.
Tax Manager (TXM - 18)

Responsibility:
Manages tax analysis, reporting, and compliance function.

Requirements:
  • S1 degree in accounting with min 3.0 GPA from reputable university,
  • 3-5 years experience minimum in taxation, preferably in Taxation Consulting Company.
  • 35 years old maximum
  • Having state brevet B/C (preferably)
  • Having good knowledge of accounting and taxation system in plantation industry,
  • Having good leadership skills, analytical thinking, and communication skills
Treasury Manager (TRM - 09)

Responsibility:
Plans and controls cash management activity in his/her region to support business operations in achieving its objectives.

Requirements:
  • S1 degree in accounting or financial management from reputable university,
  • 4 years experience minimum in treasury management,
  • Fluent in English both oral and written,
  • Computer literate (MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc).
  • Having knowledge of investment portfolio strategy, banking, and financial instruments.
  • Having experience in preparing and presenting credit projects with banking,
  • Willing to travel to the plantation areas.
Compensation & Benefit Manager (CBM - 36)

Responsibility:
Leads and manages development and maintenance of compensation and benefit policies for group of companies.

Requirements:
  • S1 degree in any field from reputable university
  • 4 years experience minimum as Compensation & Benefit Analyst, preferably from plantation industry.
  • 35 years old maximum
  • Fluent in English both oral and written,
  • Computer literate (MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc),
  • Having experience in analyzing and developing compensation and benefit policy
  • Having knowledge of computerized payroll system.
  • Having good leadership skills, conceptual and analytical thinking, and communication skills
