Singapore Airlines Cargo


Singapore Airlines has been in the cargo business for over 50 years, since we first flew the Airspeed Consuls in 1947. In July 1992, a fully-fledged Cargo division was formed to devote even more attention to the cargo business. As a further step in our evolution we were formed as an independently managed subsidiary of Singapore Airlines on the 1st July 2001. This will bring about greater management accountability and provide even greater motivation for our people to provide solutions to best meet your air freight requirements.

At Singapore Airlines Cargo, we place great emphasis on delivering high standards of service to our customers. We are proud that SIA Cargo was awarded the "Award for Excellence" for 3 consecutive years in the Air Carrier category, which was awarded by Air Cargo World. In 2008, SIA Cargo was bestowed the "Best Green Service Provider - Airline" by Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards. SIA Cargo won the “Top Airline for Outstanding Service” award in the Federation of Asia-Pacific Aircargo Association Awards and also won the "Top 10 Airlines byCargo Carriage" award for the second year in succession by CAAS. Besides its high standards of customer service, Singapore Airlines Cargo was also honored for its contributions to the Arts and was awarded the “Friend of Heritage Award” in 2008 and 2009 by the National Heritage Board of Singapore.

Cargo Sales Representative (Code: SIAC - SR)
Based in Jakarta, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.

Prospective candidates should be INDONESIAN citizen and must meet following requirements:
  • Must have a D3 or S1 degree from a reputable university
  • Preferably have air cargo industry knowledge and understand the delicate details of cargo operations and sales
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Independent and self-starter, with the drive to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Meticulous, good organizational and problem solving skills
  • Must have a cordial personality and people oriented as the position requires daily interaction with Cargo agents and Head Office staffs in Singapore
  • Must be customer oriented and excellent customer relationship skills
  • Some experience in cargo operations and general aviation knowledge is preferred
  • IT literacy
